While most individuals can be hypnotised, the level of responsiveness may vary. People with a willingness to participate and follow instructions tend to be more receptive to hypnosis. Factors such as trust, belief, and the ability to relax also influence hypnotic susceptibility.  
 
However, it's important to note that not everyone will enter a deep hypnotic state. Skilled hypnotherapists can adapt their techniques to accommodate individual differences and still achieve therapeutic benefits.  
 
Even those who may not be as responsive to traditional hypnosis techniques can still benefit from alternative approaches like guided imagery or relaxation techniques within the context of hypnotherapy.
